Baptism

We believe that water baptism is an essential part of salvation, along with receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as according to Scripture.

Baptism was taught by Jesus as part of the new birth experience.
John 3:5, Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5

Baptism is for the remission of sins. It must be done by immersion in water, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:38

The Holy Ghost

Jesus promised the Spirit to those who believe.
John 7:38-39, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:5

Speaking in tongues is the initial sign of receiving the Holy Ghost.

God promised His Spirit to all who ask, believe, and obey His Word.
